CareGivers - Residential Care for Children and Youth
To serve the diverse needs of children and families we have a number of specialized programs:

Crisis Care
Child and Family Supportive Care
Residential Care
Medically Fragile Care
Respite Care

In an ideal world, children and familes would rarely need the support of a residential care program. But the reality is that for some children a supportive out-of-home residential setting is not only necessary, but provides stability in a time of crisis. We offer short term care as well as longer term residential treatment and support in homelike environments.

Our residential care practice has evolved from caring for medically fragile youth to a range of programs serving infants, children, adolescents and adults who require individualized, supportive environments. Our programs are currently registered for accreditation with CARF in 2011, and all our child/youth programs are built on the principles that underlie best practice in residential care.

Individual service delivery plans are created for each child, but all program elements are designed to support safe environments and a wide-variety of supports and interventions that are trauma-sensitive, family involved and developmentally appropriate.
