Working in partnership with families and communities and fitting services to the child rather than fitting the child to services.
For children and youth who have been temporarily or permanently removed from their home, the CFSC program is a 24/7 residential program appropriate for children or sibling groups who require levels of support not readily available in a family or foster care arrangement. In homelike environments, that emphasize protection and security along with nurturing child development, we offer a range of service modalities including assessment, academic support, family support, recreation, liaison with other community resources, and nursing supervision. Services are delivered by certified staff, who are guided by an individualized service delivery plan for each child. Developed in cooperation with the child and his or her family, social worker, other service providers and significant others in the child’s life, this plan identifies the strengths and needs of each child, as well as desired outcomes that guide individual programming and day to day activity, with the goal of placing the child either with his or her family or in a more family like setting.CARE |
