CareGivers offers special residential services for medically fragile children that require additional care and treatment.

A medically fragile youth is one who needs medical supervision and who is unable to carry out activities of daily living due to a medical condition. Our trained staff follow a written nursing plan of care to ensure the child’s medical needs are met, but we never forget that being child-centered is the most important job we do. With specialized equipment and modified homes coupled with a full recreation and a community access program, we foster maximum independence for our medically fragile children.
